Nite Rider Partners with Baja Rally

ERENDIRA, BAJA CA, MEXICO – The Baja Rally announced that NiteRider Technical Lightning Systems has joined the inaugural BAJA RALLY as a ‘partner-level’ sponsor in the highly anticipated, first ever navigation-based motorcycle rally to take place in Northern Baja this October 3-6.

Founded 25 years ago and based in San Diego, NiteRider is the maker of premium lightning systems in the technical lighting space with applications that span sports, industrial and military operations.  The BAJA RALLY is a launch pad for NiteRider as they launch an exciting new line of lights to the off-road market.

“NiteRider brings so much to the table for us that it is helping to illuminate our vision both literally and figuratively,” explained BAJA RALLY director Scotty Breauxman.  “NiteRider is the lightning company that has stepped up to the plate and is firmly committed to our path to make this a world class rally-sport event in North America.  They have extensive experience in proactively supporting and building sporting events and see the importance of this event in off-road motorsports.”

NiteRider will be onsite with their new MX helmet mounted LED lights to demo and there will be lights given as prizes for the top three finishers of the rally.

“We are excited to be an integral part of this event as it grows and proactively work with the riders to provide them with the best possible lighting solutions,” declared NiteRider founder and CEO, Tom Carroll.

The Inaugural BAJA RALLY is the very first “road book” navigation based rally-raid for motorcycles to be held in BAJA CA and will take place October 3-6 on a series of secret stage routes beginning in the historically rich wine making region of Santo Tomas and ending in the agricultural heartland of San Quintin in Northern BAJA CA. Participants will be tested on the their ability to read foreign terrain and navigate through the hills, valleys, mountains and canyons of Baja California’s spectacular landscapes.
