Ensenada represent the country at the world





Ensenada, B. C. - Ensenada could be the twelfth member of the Global Wine Capitals as the representative of Mexico, said Tourism Undersecretary of State (Tourism Ministry), Jose de Jesus Quinonez Ramirez.

This already has Sectur preparatory projects that allow the network to request that Ensenada is considered.
Ramirez Quinones said the network is divided by country and region to represent their nation competes, such as the United States Napa Valley, Mendoza Argentina, Oporto Portugal, Bordeaux France, La Rioja in Spain, so expect to Ensenada representing Mexico.

On this occasion representatives of the region Champagne Ardenne and winemaker sector in France: Jean Paul Bachy, Claude Poulet and Pamela Dalvadeay are visiting Ensenada to visit the Wine Route and test the products made there.
The tourism secretary also said it intends to seek joint projects in the livestock, cultural, educational, economic, gastronomic and increase opportunities to promote tourism between the two cities.

Before the tour of the French in the Civic Center, Social and Cultural Riviera, the state official explained that they have noticed the similarities between Champagne and Ensenada.
