AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Joseph McCormick warned that moisture from Tropical Storm Octave has the potential to enhance rainfall that already caused flooding Sunday in parts of Texas. Meteorologists warned that rainfall could cause flooding in more parts of the state. The storm is already bringing high surf and rip currents in Mexico, especially in the proximity of Cabo San Lucas.
While the Tropical Storm Octave is approaching Mexico, another Tropical Storm, Priscilla, has formed in the eastern Pacific, centered 705 miles southwest of Baja California. The new storm is moving north-northeast at 19 kph.
