ICA Announces Two Hospital Construction Contracts

MEXICO CITY, Nov. 4, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Empresas ICA, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:ICA) (NYSE:ICA), the largest infrastructure and construction company in Mexico, announced today the award of two hospital construction contracts, with a total value of approximately Ps. 1,157 million.

The Mexican Institute of Social Security, or IMSS, awarded ICA the contract for a new 250-bed regional general hospital in León, Guanajuato, through a public bidding process. The contract includes the construction, equipment, installation, testing, and putting into service of the hospital, and has a value of approximately Ps. 780 million. Construction is expected to be completed in October 2015.
The Institute for Social Services of State Employees, or ISSSTE, awarded ICA the contract for a new 120-bed hospital in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas also through a public bidding process. The contract with a value of approximately Ps. 377 million includes the construction of seven buildings, ranging from one to four stories. Construction is expected to be completed in August 2015.
